Pneumonia is a disease that frequently infects toddlers. cases in 2021 caused 9.4% of deaths children aged 12-59 months. The effectiveness pneumonia treatment decreasing due to the increase Streptococcus pneumoniae ’s resistance antibiotics. application natural plant extracts such as binahong ( Anredera cordifolia ) leaf extract chosen an alternative pneumonia. purpose this study was disclose active compound A. has potential antibacterial S. . This conducted September 2022 at Universitas Negeri Surabaya with silico method (blind docking) using PyRx software. results drug-likeness assay showed three selected compounds (Linoleic Acid, Phytol, and Hexadecanoid Acid) met criteria drugs. molecular docking been carried out Linoleic Acid lowest binding affinity value (-5.4 kcal/mol) when compared Phytol indicating its higher potential. shows have be PBP2 target protein. It nevertheless necessary conduct further research determine bioavailability these compounds.
